Riding to support veterans. Wedding bells were ringing for the Riders when two of our members were married on Oct 1st. Al Thomas and Therese Burke-Hale were wed in Yelm. The service was performed by the Riders own Chaplin, Ed Harwood. Several of the Riders were at the memorial service honoring the Civil War Veteran Zachariah Stucker. Private Stucker was born in 1845 and grew up in Illinois. He was a member of Company A, 48th Illinois Infantry and fought in every major battle under Generals Grant and Sherman as well as the 1862 Battle of Shiloh.
